The Johnson County Park & Recreation District, Health Ridge Fitness, and TRiKC are offering a FREE youth triathlon clinic on July 18 at the Health Ridge Fitness Center. The aim is to provide a safe and fun environment to introduce kids to the basics of a triathlon and improve triathlon specific skills. Kids will learn the rules of youth triathlon as well as about the specifics of triathlon swimming, biking, running, and fast transitions. Kids age  of 6 and upwards are welcome to attend. The clinic will be hosted by a qualified USA Triathlon Coach and additional volunteers. The clinic will conclude with short swim session to acclimate kids to swim in a group, so bring your swim suit!
